Role: Video Editor
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing: Proficiently edit and assemble raw footage into a polished, cohesive video product, ensuring high-quality visual and audio elements.
Social Media Management: Manage and update social media profiles, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Organization and File Management: Maintain an organized file structure for projects, ensuring easy accessibility of raw footage, edited files, and project assets.
Audience Engagement: Interact with our audience, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly, and foster a positive online community.
Creative Input: Provide creative input and suggest improvements to enhance the visual impact of videos, incorporating feedback from team members and clients.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and emerging editing techniques to continuously enhance skills and stay at the forefront of video editing capabilities.
Collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals, provide input, and incorporate feedback throughout the editing process.
Creativity in corporate videos
Requirements
Proven work experience of 1-2 years as a video editor or similar role
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere pro, After Effects and Final Cut pro)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Salary: 300,000.00 - 600,000.00 per annum
