Role: Information Security Officer Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Mumbai/Chennai Work Type: Hybrid
Job Description As an Information Security Officer you'll be responsible for information security, making sure that Randstad standards are in place, reporting business risks, and aligning security initiatives with business objectives. You may work in a variety of sectors and specialize in a number of areas including: Governance and compliance Information security management Revision and monitoring of controls, data, and information security policies applicable to Randstad India, compliance check, and internal auditing (domestic, global) such as: Security Revision of IT security policies Revision of security measures implementation Security compliance with global security standards Audit Preparation for IT security Internal Audit (domestic, global) Answering the questions by auditors Remediation plan making against indicators Monitoring the progress of remediation plans Compliance In charge of Company's overall data and information security Implement global IS policy and review it as per local rules Provide training to all employees to continuously improve the compliance awareness Set up data security monitoring mechanism and perform compliance audit from time to time ensure that your findings are recorded and followed up with management so that issues can be rectified investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues report back to business functions on current risk and compliance performance highlight or escalate areas of concern contribute to robust and effective compliance controls within the organization assist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requests collaborate with other departments to create a culture of compliance Required Experience 10 years experience in Information security governance and compliance Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field Managing a team Business-level English Nice to have experience Managing an information security management system experience in working with ITIL, ISO27001, ISO27701, ISO9001 or Cobit frameworks IT security certification (eg. ISO27001, CISA, CISSP, CISM) Project management experience Skills technical acumen problem-solving and decision-making abilities analytical skills and a good eye for detail Able to cope under pressure planning and organization skills negotiation skills and the ability to influence people good communication and presentation skills Able to effectively communicate with executives commercial awareness numerical skills and the ability to extract relevant information the ability to understand broad business issues Able to mentor, coach, and grow security team members What to expect Work is primarily office based Offsite training or conferences would be as required As an international company, there may be some overseas travelJob tags
