Job Description: Pantry Boy
Location: New Delhi
Salary: INR 16,000 to INR 20,000 per month
Position Overview We are searching for a diligent and detail-oriented Pantry Boy to join our premier hotel in New Delhi. As a Pantry Boy, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness in the pantry area, and supporting the culinary team. If you have relevant experience, a diploma in hotel management (preferred), and a passion for contributing to a well-organized kitchen, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities - Food Preparation Assistance: Assist the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish pantry supplies, ensuring ingredients are readily available for chefs and cooks.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized pantry area, including cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
- Support to Chefs: Assist chefs and cooks as needed during meal service, helping with plating and ensuring timely food delivery.
- Quality Control: Check the freshness and quality of ingredients, reporting any discrepancies to the supervising chef.
- Waste Management: Properly dispose of kitchen waste and ensure recycling and waste disposal protocols are followed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Qualifications And Requirements - Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience as a Pantry Boy or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Proficient in spoken English language.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
