Job description
- Understand the Hotels existing client base and devise new ways to expand the client base through prospecting, marketing and key relationships.
- Supports the director of sales and marketing in preparing the department budget as well as the hotels overall sales goals and strategy
- Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking.
- Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activities
- Establish and grow our market share by developing and maintaining relationships with major groups, Corporates and Travel Booking Platforms
- Network with wedding planners and special event planners to increase bookings
- Negotiates, designs and implements special group rates for key accounts
- Handles any complaints or reviews related to group/corporate sales or marketing initiatives
- Ensures that key accounts booking room blocks have a fantastic stay and receive VIP treatment.
- Work closely with the Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiates meet the hotels goals and also to ensure the proper distribution of room sales across various market segment.
Requirements
Post Graduation with a specialization in Sales preferred
Prior experience in Hotel Sales is a must
