Senior Manager - Order to Cash Reporting, Data, Process & Accounting
Role Objective:
This key leadership role within the Order to Cash (O2C) team supports the achievement of strategic objectives. You will ensure robust end-to-end reporting, processes, and compliance across the O2C cycle, providing valuable insights into future cash movements and supporting key cash decisions. Collaboration with stakeholders within the company, business partnering, and close work with Treasury are crucial aspects of the role.
Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (e.g., B.Com)
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or equivalent professional accounting certification
- 10+ years of experience in reporting and forecasting, preferably in Order to Cash
- Experience or knowledge of SAP/FSCM or similar enterprise resource planning systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting:
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting across all O2C cycle aspects.
- Generate predictable long, medium, and short-term cashflows for effective liquidity management.
- Establish and maintain meaningful KPIs and metrics (e.g., DSO, WIP days) across the O2C cycle.
- Implement dashboards and metrics to measure offshore collections team performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in O2C performance reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., CFO, Global Process Leads, Finance Directors, Treasury) to address issues, ensure data accuracy, and meet business needs.
Compliance:
- Ensure data integrity in sales ledger, general ledger accounts related to O2C, and other systems impacting reporting and accounting.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and external regulations, including statutory requirements.
- Investigate internal audit findings, implement corrective actions, and monitor compliance with agreed-upon recommendations.
Processes:
- Lead or participate in process and system improvement initiatives with other finance leaders.
- Review and analyze current end-to-end processes to recommend, secure leadership approval, and implement improvements and standardization.
- Update relevant documentation (SOPs, user guides, training materials) and standard templates.
- Carry out other reporting duties as required by management.
- Provide effective training to the team to meet objectives and deadlines.
- Coach, guide, and support the team to achieve individual and team goals.
