About Nimaya - A Foundation for Future-ready Naaris Cofounded by Social Entrepreneurs Navya Nanda & Samyak Chakrabarty,

Nimaya (a not-for-profit) is a career accelerator for girls with big dreams, coming from restrictive circumstances. The World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs report states that skills like critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving and emotional intelligence are ‘must haves’ for white-collar jobs in the age of automation. However, high-quality training in these essential soft skills and generalist abilities is not widely available to the masses. Nimaya bridges that gap by providing free of cost training in 16+ soft skills to our cohorts that comprise female college students & entry level working professionals. .

Over 1000 girls in Maharashtra , Gujarat and Haryana have been impacted through our program till date. About The Smart Fellowship Program & the Project we are doing in Uttar Pradesh:

The Smart Fellowship enables Bharat's graduates to build automation-proof careers. Through immersive role-playing experiences, fellows master 8+ essential soft skills, from critical thinking, creative problem solving to emotional intelligence. These are now an essential hiring criteria for roles across sectors. In fact our new national education policy lays special emphasis on these skills which the World Economic Forum also lists as 'must haves'. Each smart fellow gains a unique edge in placements and performance as they have acquired superpowers to start thinking, communicating and making decisions where A.I stops. Till date 50,000 graduates from across 40+ institutions have transformed into future-ready smart generalists. Uttar Pradesh is amongst India's youngest states by population with over 47% being females. The Smart Fellowship is taking a pioneering step to empower 1000 girls of the state to become future leaders in the modern world of work. This experience will also give them the required knowledge, exposure and access to become front seat drivers of the state's socio-economic growth. Job Location: Ayodhya

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitating role-play and simulation based sessions in both online and offline learning modes Work with our curriculum designer to understand the content, the learning plan and our methodology to ensure the effectiveness of our curriculum. Providing support or further resources to learners to help solve their queries and encourage active participation. Recognizing specific areas necessitating additional intervention based on the unique requirements of each cohort. Skillfully moderating group discussions and facilitating training activities that foster growth and development. Recording learner feedback, testimonials and attendance for all sessions. Collaborate with the program management team to ensure that Nimaya's progr

am and interventions create the desired transformative impact in the lives and careers of beneficiaries. Help in building and maintaining strong relationships with learners, understanding their unique needs, challenges, and aspirations, and ensuring program alignment with their expectations. Aid in collecting feedback and testimonials from learners and trainers as per the established plan and standards set by Nimaya. Support on-ground presence to ensure the smooth execution of the program, managing stakeholders involved such as trainers and partners responsible for program delivery. Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor or management related to partnership development and program execution.

Requirements:

Possesses a track record of 2+ years in teaching or coaching in both online and offline settings, with a preference for experience in teaching young-adults & adults. Demonstrates a keen understanding of the needs and nuances of our target audience (youth). Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with learners, facilitate a supportive learning environment and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Flexible and adaptable to changing program needs and learner needs. Strong o

rganizational skills to train multiple cohorts of learners and track their progress. Excels in communication, ensuring information is conveyed effectively and with impact. Is proficient in delivering training sessions in Hindi and English Experience in project management and program execution. Familiarity with the social, economic, and educational landscape of Ayodhya Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. Capacity to work collaboratively with the program management team, trainers, and other stakeholders to achieve program goals and objectives.

Salary Range: Rs. 35,000 -40,000 per month Project Period: May to July 2024 (3 months)
