Job Description

Role: Executive Procurement

Experience: 2-3 years

Location: Bangalore (Work From Office)

Time: 1-9:30pm

SAP MM - 1-2 years

Microsoft Excel - Excellent

Microsoft Word/PPT - Excellent

Responsibilities:

• 2-3 years of experience in procurement is preferable.
• Knowledge of the IT industry, hardware and software including the latest technological developments, emerging trends, and market dynamics would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

1. Procurement Operations:

• • Create PRs, POs, Material codes, etc in SAP and act as an administrator for procurement applications and mailbox.
  • Handle process transition from acquired companies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, technological advancements, and cost-effective alternatives for procurement.

1. Cost Optimization and Savings:

• • Identify opportunities for cost savings and negotiate favourable terms and pricing with vendors.
  • Evaluate existing contracts and agreements to identify areas for optimization and renegotiation.
  • Research and recommend alternative solutions and products that are more cost-effective while meeting quality and performance requirements.

1. Team Work and Collaboration:

• • Ensure timely and accurate completion of procurement activities, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and legal, to streamline processes and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in procurement is preferable.
• Knowledge of the IT industry, hardware and software including the latest technological developments, emerging trends, and market dynamics would be an advantage.
