Job description

Role:

Design, develop, deploy and setup services like Google Homes, Alexa, Firebase and other third-party services for IoT based smart projects in the area of UPS, Geyser, Pumps, Switches & other appliances products for voice recognition, push notification and related functionalities using mobile app in both android and iOS.

Preferred candidate qualifications:

1. Have good sound knowledge of understanding of working of smart electronics appliances, mechanical parts, products, product engineering & customer expectation from products.
2. Hands on experience of product requirement & its documentation requirements.
3. Good Exposure in using varieties of safety, reliability & general standards.
4. Should have good problem analysis, solving skills & simulating test conditions / problems.
5. Good skills in usage of Excel and other data analysis tools.
6. Programing/scripting knowledge of python, JS, NodeJS
7. Working knowledge of cloud computing using AWS, Azure or GCP.
8. IoT related protocols like MQTT, CoAP
9. Cassandra, MySQL
10. Working knowledge of Linux based OS.

Main Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Product Design & Development in Smart Product Domain.
2. Able to understand application, design, Safety & reliability related issues in products.
3. Keep a close watch on upcoming / new competitor's products & report to the Manager from time to time.
4. Observe the working status of all the services daily to ensure uninterrupted service to our customers.
5. Add, update, remove notification content, logic for push notification services.
6. Basic knowledge of firmware OTA process.
7. Database server maintenance activities.
