Position Overview As a GoLang Backend Developer, you’ll be a key player in our tech department, driving our backend development forward to meet our ambitious business goals and evolving technical needs. Note: We're specifically searching for candidates with a background in GoLang. While we value diverse coding experiences, this role requires focused GoLang expertise. What You Will Need A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 2-4 years of hands-on backend development, ideally with GoLang experience. Familiarity with system architecture, distributed systems, and database management (SQL and NoSQL). A foundational understanding of cloud services like AWS and containerization tools such as Docker. Key Responsibilities Backend Development: Craft and maintain GoLang-based applications, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle. Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and embrace automated testing to maintain our high-quality standards. API Development: Assist in the creation of RESTful APIs, ensuring they are efficient and secure. Collaborative Projects: Work alongside a team on backend initiatives, from concept to launch, aligning with project schedules and resource planning. Database Interaction: Manage database interactions within applications, focusing on data integrity and query performance. Learning and Growth: Engage in continuous learning and upskilling, keeping abreast of the latest backend technologies and practices. Additional Qualifications Microservices Foundation: Exposure to microservices architecture and an understanding of system scalability and reliability. API Experience: Experience with RESTful API development and an eagerness to expand your expertise in this area. Quality Assurance Integration: A willingness to adopt quality assurance practices, working with automated testing to improve code reliability. Security Awareness: An awareness of backend security best practices and a readiness to learn more about safeguarding systems.
