Job description

Responsibilities: Develop and implement post-silicon test strategies, methodologies, and procedures for semiconductor devices and integrated circuits. Design and develop test benches, test patterns, and test cases for post-silicon validation and characterization. Perform post-silicon testing, debug, and analysis to identify and resolve functional and performance issues. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency. Collaborate with design, validation, and manufacturing teams to ensure test coverage and quality for silicon products. Document and communicate test results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders. Stay updated on semiconductor technologies, test methodologies, and industry standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in post-silicon testing or semiconductor validation. Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, digital logic, and circuit design principles. Experience with hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) and simulation tools (e.g., ModelSim, VCS). Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Skills: Post-Silicon Testing: Proficiency in developing and executing test strategies and methodologies for semiconductor validation. Test Automation: Ability to build and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts. Semiconductor Technology: Understanding semiconductor device physics and digital circuit design principles. Collaboration: Effective teamwork within cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality. Preferred: Certification in semiconductor testing or validation, demonstrating specialized knowledge and expertise. Familiarity with advanced test techniques such as Built-In Self-Test (BIST) and scan-based testing. Experience with Design for Testability (DFT) techniques and principles. Knowledge of reliability testing methodologies and standards. Familiarity with failure analysis techniques and tools.
