Principal Ent Software Test Engineer in the Enabling Technologies R&D Software Organization developing software supporting Client Navigation and Imaging systems. The individual will operate in all phases and contribute to all activities of the software development process. Candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking, team environment.

A Day in the Life

• Develop, run, and maintain suite(s) of automation tests
• Conduct Test protocols and code review
• Anticipate and identify technical impediments and solve them with test architecture design, technology choices, or prioritization
• Participate in planning delivery time, code quality, and process efficiency improvement projects
• Identify bottlenecks in testing and deployment processes and design automation solutions to mitigate
• Maintain and grow knowledge of platform configuration management, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Work under general direction and collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• Continuously keep updated with latest technology trends and channel that learning to Client Product development

Must Have

Job Respobsibilities

• Own product testing strategy, developing frameworks.
• Technical Leadership to the squad to ensure implemeting the testing strategy according to best practices
• Create engineering practices
• Experience with configuration management tools
• Proficiency working in a team environment
• Demonstrated skills in writing engineering documents (specifications, project plans, et)..

Must Have

Minimum Qualification

B.E/BTech.in CS, IT, EC Engineering 

14-18+ years of SDET experience (or ME/MTech), including 5+ years of experience in (high/low-level) customer-facing products test automation

• Experience in Web application testing
• Design and Build framework and tools to identify functional and non-functional (latency, performance) regressions
• Performance testing, load testing,
• Dive deep into our testing methodologies to transform manual quality processes to highly automated quality solutions.Design/development of automated test cases
• Analyze results of automated regression suites and distill those results into bug tickets as needed
• Experience with API testing Using Postman or Soap UI
• Strong demonstrated ability to work directly with technical leads and other engineers
• Demonstrate a creative and innovation-driven ability to articulate engineering quality paradigms and patterns
• Aware of CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Automation
• Experience with GIT and other version control tools

• Ability to manage own learning and contribute to functional knowledge building
• Ability to work both independently and help other team members

Principal Working Relationship

• Reports to the Engineering Manager
• Work with Product Manager/Owner, Deveopers, DevOps engneers to align the testing roadmap with strengths and opportunities within the existing architecture
• Collaborate with the Product Manager/Owner and the squad to draft quarterly OKRs and engineering KPIsStrong oral and written communication skills

Nice to Haves

• Experience in mobile testing
• Background in healthcare preferred
• Mobile Apps Testing Experience
• Extensive SQL scripting background
• Ability to advocate and implement best practices and standard solutions
• Previous Medical Device domain experience
• Experience in Digital Health application development
• Experience in best practices for security and compliance (HIPAA, SOC II, etc…)
• Familiarity with healthcare specific technologies and data formats such as HL7 & FHIR

  Must Have 

• Experience as SDET using tools such as Selenium , Cucumber, Appium, Cypress and BDD framework - Must have
• Experience in Web application testing - Must have
• Experience in mobile testing - Nice to have
• Suppot in building Build framework and tools to identify functional and non-functional (latency, performance) regressions. - Must have
• Performance testing, load testing - must have
