Position: Finance Manager Industry: Food
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join a leading firm in the food industry. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the firm’s operations and ensuring the financial health and stability of the company. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger activities. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into the company's financial performance and trends. Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial targets. Monitor and analyze cash flow, financial metrics, and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive business growth. Oversee preparation of MIS and Financial data. Carry out Debtor/Creditor/Inventory reconciliations. Ensure Tax compliances (GST, TDS, ITR etc) are fulfilled by Finance team. Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to optimize financing arrangements and support business objectives. Provide strategic financial guidance and advice to senior management and department heads to support decision-making and drive business performance. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities. Requirements: B.com/M.com or Finance related qualification preferred. Proven experience in a finance management role, preferably in the food industry or related sector. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting. Strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and controls, with the ability to implement best practices and drive process improvements. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a finance team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-driven approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
