Job description
Main Purpose of Job: Ensure supply & speed to market of F&D supplements within Z-AOA. Provide co-mans with finished product specifications and corresponding manufacturing dossier. Ensure food safety, compliance and competitive quality of Nestlé Nutrition products by providing expertise, leadership, coaching and training to: Co-man department in the NiM organizations, regional cross functional project teams. Act as the Technical and Quality lead in new launches and Geographical expansion projects. Provides category expertise and support to NiM markets for locally driven projects to support the selection and qualification of new co-mans by conducting audits, ensuring appropriate standards are in place and provision of technical and quality support.
Manage the I&R projects for specialized nutrition supplements and ensure food safety, compliance and adherence to quality standards for the Nestlé Specialized Nutrition supplement category working with Co-Man team in NiM under her/his area of responsibility. Support the qualification of new co-mans together with NiM Key Responsibilities: Train, coach and support deployment of relevant Nutrition Quality policies, standards and instructions through the Co-man team in NiM Verify the implementation of Nutrition Quality policies, standards and instructions in Co-manufacturers under his/her responsibility. Drive the Co-Manufacturer audit plan and follow-up on the related action plans. Bring any deviations and related corrective actions to the attention of the Nutrition organization. Ensure goal alignment on Nutrition OMP along with NiM and the Co-Manufacturers under her/his responsibility. Benchmark, network, share learning and develop synergies in QM between Co-Manufacturers and other colleagues working in the Nestlé Specialized Nutrition supplement category or comparable Categories (eg. NHS and Atrium). Support Co-Manufacturer and Nutrition SBU in case of crisis, incident and repeated non-conformances. Coach for identification of proper root causes, ensure follow ups and sharing within the network. Co-Manufacturer Operational Readiness (Project) and technical assistance: Support pre-assessment of new contract Manufacturers with Local market. Approval of pre-assessed Co-Manufacturer via audit. Drive completion of the Manufacturing Dossier and Quality agreement. Identification of Nestle approved laboratory (NQAC), third party or Co-Man laboratory. Ensure delivery of Technical and Quality milestones in the development projects from concept to post launch evaluation. A key deliverable will include either providing or arranging to provide the appropriate oversight of industrial trials. Co-Manufacturer Operational Management: Act as the main interface between the Co-Man and selling markets for all Technical and Quality related activities. For 'local co-mans' provide the necessary oversight and guidance needed for all Technical and Quality related activities to support the market until such time that they develop the necessary competencies to manage day to day activities of the co-man themselves. Maintain overall responsibility for ongoing approval of the co-man. Manage change controls, release and complaint processes and timely closure of investigations. Mandatory requirements: Successful Quality and Food Safety management experience of at least 3-5 years in operations. In depth knowledge of product category (or comparable category). Record of successful exposure and ability to coach, convince, engage, develop and motivate in a cross-functional and/or international environment: e.g. DMAIC coach, DMAIC sponsor, Quality pillar leadership or equivalent.
