Job description
Essential Functional & Responsibilities:
• Participate in discussion with customers to gather information and requirements
• Experience in analysis, design, development, code review
• Involved in creation of technical design documents and review of low level design documents
• Candidates should have hands-on experience in developing and unit testing software using agile or scrum methodologies.
• Candidate should have technical leadership and direction for a team of Java developers
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
• carry out code reviews and quality assurance checks
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, mobile app developers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate APIs.
• Participating in group meetings to discuss projects and objectives.

Required Skills:
• Sound knowledge in core and advanced Java, including OOP concepts, Collections Framework, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
• Experience with Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Security, Hibernate, or JPA).
• Knowledge of Spring Security for securing applications.
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using frameworks
• Experience in microservice based architecture development.
• Version control using tools like Git.
• Hands-on experience in database design and optimize database schemas, proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Basic understanding of the Linux platform.
• Experience in event based development like ActiveMQ, Kafka,
• Caching (Redis, Mmcache)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI,
• Experience in running applications using Docker containers.
• Cloud experience is an added advantage.
