Job description
NCR Atleos Network and Security Engineer role provides second level technical trouble support and the processing of alerts that could be the first sign of network and security incidents. The analyst is expected to have a solid understanding of basic network security that consists of the following but is not limited to firewalls, Switches, Wireless, VPN concentrators, SSL-VPN devices, IPS, reverse proxies, etc. The individual in this position will focus on network security and connectivity between NCR and non-NCR devices (customers, partners, Internet.) This position will be supporting remote site networks including secured segments in this remote networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure, Deploy, and Support remote networks including switches, wireless, and firewalls.
Support IPSEC VPN configurations , setups, and troubleshooting.
Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot network security platforms when needed.
Update technical documentation as needed.
Qualifications and Key Attributes
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience
Overall, 5-8 years of experience with at least 4 years of networking and or security experience
Experience with IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewalling concepts
Deep understanding of the latest network technologies and security principles.
In Depth understanding of firewall rules, policies, ports, blocks, and VPN technologies.
Experience with Fortinet Firewall is must.
Experience with router and Switches is must.
Experience with Network and Security Infrastructure tool (SolarWinds, Thousand Eyes, AlgoSec Policy management and optimization, Automation and Orchestration like Terraform and GitHub, Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer)
Experience with Cisco/Meraki switches and wireless
Experience with Forescout is a plus
