For more information about the Foundation, please visit our website: JOB SUMMARY In order to complement the health care schemes provided by the Government of Rajasthan, JBF is launching a new preventive health care program in the rural areas around Jaipur, mainly Kalwar, Jobner and Sambhar. Health camps will be organised for preventive health check-ups of men above 50 years and women above 40 years of age to test their health status so that the participants can take timely treatment and prevent life-threatening diseases. Candidates will have to organise communities to participate in these camps, manage the camps and provide guidance to the participants on best practices for family health and hygiene. The candidate should provide informal counselling to build trusting relationships with the community and provide health information in a way that is easy to understand. During and after the camps, the candidates will collect and tabulate participants' health data to develop future programs and provide better services. CANDIDATE PROFILE 1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Community health management or a related field. 2. Proficient in Hindi and good knowledge of working in rural areas with local communities. 3. He/she should have good community mobilisation and communication skills along with at least eight to ten years of similar experience in a rural area. REMUNERATION Budgeted consolidated remuneration is Rs.5 to 8 lacs per annum, depending on the evaluation of the candidate’s potential, qualification, experience, and job retention ability.
