Job description
Responsibilities:
- Local Dealer Market Development:
- Identify and target potential dealers and distributors in the local market.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with dealers, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective dealer support programs and promotional activities.
- Sales Generation:
- Generate leads and actively pursue new business opportunities with dealers, distributors, end customers, and contractors.
- Present product offerings to potential clients and negotiate sales agreements.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Provide ongoing support to dealers, end customers, and contractors, addressing their needs and resolving any issues.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for dealers, end customers, and contractors, maintaining regular communication.
- Address inquiries, provide product information, and assist in resolving any customer concerns.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key dealers, promoting customer loyalty and retention.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential customer segments.
- Analyze sales data, market feedback, and customer insights to improve sales strategies and offerings.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, dealer interactions, and market developments.
- Prepare regular sales reports, performance analyses, and forecasts for management review.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in outdoor sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in local dealer market development, distributor management, and engaging with end customers and contractors.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
Proficient in using CRM software and utilizing the internet for lead generation and business activities
