Job description
Summary
As a Solution Architect specializing in Solutioning & Transitioning, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of technical solutions for new accounts or transitioning projects from onshore to offshore locations. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, assess existing systems, and develop comprehensive solutions that align with Gainwell goals. This role requires a deep understanding of solution architecture, transition management, and the ability to drive successful transitions from initiation to completion. Responsibilities Lead the architecture and design of distributed technology (.NET, Java, Cloud, SQL etc.,) based applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs. Design and implement scalable and maintainable software solutions using the distributed technology (.NET, Java, Cloud, SQL etc.,) framework and related technologies. Evaluate and recommend appropriate distributed technology (.NET, Java, Cloud, SQL etc.,) frameworks, libraries, and tools to support solution architecture and development. Define and enforce architectural guidelines and standards for distributed technology (.NET, Java, Cloud, SQL etc.,) development, ensuring consistency and quality across projects. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new systems or enhancements. Lead solutioning efforts for new accounts or transitioning projects, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution architectures. Develop end-to-end solution designs that address business needs while considering scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. Assess existing systems and infrastructure to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Design transition plans and roadmaps for migrating projects from onshore to offshore locations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maximum efficiency. Develop architectural blueprints and technical specifications based on requirements analysis and solution design principles. Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms to support the solution architecture. Lead and mentor development teams in implementing solution designs, providing guidance on best practices and standards. Drive the creation of detailed project plans, timelines, and resource requirements, working closely with stakeholders. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate potential solutions and identify the best course of action. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience (12+ years) in solution architecture, with a focus on leading solutioning efforts for complex projects. Strong understanding of solution architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making. Experience Working In An Agile Development Environment Is Preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
