We are looking for a network administrator who can plan the future growth and expansion of our computer network
The network administrator will be responsible for maintaining our current systems and keeping our IT support staff updated on the latest tools and processes
The ideal candidate for this position is certified to work with networking equipment and is well-versed in Windows-based cloud computing solutions
Fully supporting, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading corporate s networks and in-house servers
Installing and integrating new server hardware, storage hardware and applications
Keeping an eye out for needed updates
Responsibilities:
Develop methods and tools to be used to test and implement new LAN/WAN equipment, integrating with cloud infrastructure like AWS / Azure/ GCP
Create projects that are designed to either add functionality required by the company or to address ongoing network failure issues
Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities and resolve network connectivity issues
Analyze the current network structure and submit quarterly comprehensive reports to executive team on how to make the network more efficient
Experience working in a global organization supporting diverse businesses and geographies would be a plus
Install, configure, manage and troubleshooting network equipment s
Create new subnets, provisioning switch ports, creation and documentation of formal processes and troubleshooting procedures
Setup, administer and manage back-ups, storage, firewalls, network switches and routers, LAN/WAN, VLAN and VPN, TCP/IP UDP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, NAT, Veeam, Barracuda, WatchGuard and DFS, IP telephony systems, computers, printers, Network Security Card and badge equipment, doors, audiovisual hardware and software
Monitor network services, troubleshoot connections, including identification of root causes, and install, configure and upgrade systems and software packages & also for Speed, bandwidth utilization.
Implement, optimize, monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity and traffic flow utilizing a multitude of network management and monitoring tools.
Designs and maintains network infrastructure; implements and supports all network infrastructure standards, procedures and documentation.
Maintains data security and information confidentiality in accordance with legal requirements; protects the LAN and WAN perimeter using the most up-to-date security controls.
Install, configure, manage and administrate Active Directory domains, Exchange server system, network appliances, Windows servers, directory group policies and other servers
Install VMware ESX Server, Configure, manage and administer VMware ESX Server, Virtual Center Cluster, ESX Host s Memory, Network Settings, VMFS partition for the ESX host, VLAN, VM resource management/ Tools, V-Motion, snapshots, Site Recovery Manager, VMFS and VMware Distributed Switch (VDS) management, load balancing
Support the procurement, installation, maintenance and support of all current and future network expansions and system implementations.
Monitor, support and configure SAN / NAS solutions
Manage Assets and Inventory management
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in a computer-related field required
Min 3 years of successful network troubleshooting experience
Advanced proficiency and experience with certified Microsoft
3+ years in network management and IT Support & PC Management.
Must be able to complete complex projects with minimal to no supervision
Proven experience managing a large and complex network
Effective problem-solving skills
Strong safety record and a history of establishing safe work practices.
