Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing hardware and software requirements at an organizational level, including the international team requirements in the US.
  2. Installation and OS Support - Repair / Re-Installation or fresh Installation.
  3. Strong experience working with MacBook or Apple machines, and other iOS devices. Experience working with Windows systems is also a must.
  4. Maintain an organized system for processing IT issues (with e.g. Freshdesk or Jira Service Desk).
  5. Familiarity with compliance policies and standards (e.g. HIPAA, SOC2).
  6. Administers all software and hardware needed to support day-to-day IT operations for a global staff.
  7. Maintains a status report of current tools and tracks the ownership and payment status diligently, reports the key metrics to Admin, HR and Finance appropriately.
  8. Assists employees with common technical issues (software installation and configuration, account management, etc.).
  9. Asset Management - Keeps track of asset requirements diligently. Purchases and provisions hardware and systems for new employees.
  10. Decommission employee accounts and hardware as necessary.
  11. Administers office computer networks.
  12. Triages and resolves issues found in systems across the global workforce.
  13. Establish and document IT standards, SLAs, work procedures, metrics, and processes.
  14. Research new software, products, or systems to inform the modernization of our IT solutions.
  15. Contribute to the creation and enforcement of technology policies and procedures to ensure security and regulatory compliance.
  16. Provide regular written status updates to stakeholders
  17. Understanding of SOC2 compliances, IT-related training etc.
  18. Supports the US timezones remotely and will be required to stay available in the UK timezones.
  19. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
