Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and creative individual to fill the role of YouTube and Social Media Video Shoot and Editor. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality video content for our YouTube channel and various social media platforms. You will have the opportunity to showcase your videography and editing skills while collaborating with our content team to bring our ideas to life.
Responsibilty
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute video shoots for YouTube and social media platforms.
- Set up and operate video equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices.
- Direct talent and ensure a smooth filming process, providing guidance as needed.
- Capture high-quality footage that aligns with our brand and content strategy.
- Edit video content using industry-standard software to produce polished final products.
- Enhance videos with graphics, sound effects, and other elements to maximize engagement.
- Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm ideas and develop creative concepts for videos.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video production and editing.
- Optimize videos for SEO and audience engagement, including adding captions and annotations when necessary.
- Manage video assets and ensure they are organized and easily accessible.
Qualifications
- Video Production and Video Editing skills
- Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics skills
- Graphics skills and experience
- Experience using digital cameras and editing software
- Understanding of video production principles, techniques, and processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production or related field
Experience in the education industry is a plus.
