Job description
Responsibilities
Manage the entire contract lifecycle from initial request drafting negotiation post tender process contract compliance and till contract closure.
Review analyse and interpret contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Drafting reviewing and negotiating contracts with customers and vendors.
Act as single point of contact for all contract related communications and keep track of all correspondence
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including business units legal and finance teams to facilitate contract review approval and execution.
Negotiate contract terms and any amendments with vendors and other external parties.
Collaborate and provide support to cross functional teams regarding contract interpretation obligations and deliverables
Monitor and ensure compliance with contractual obligations terms and conditions. Work closely with internal departments to track deliverables performance metrics and service level agreements (SLAs)
Ensure accurate and timely documentation contract records and reporting
Track the status and key milestones of contracts throughout their lifecycle. Maintain a comprehensive contract repository and utilize contract management tools to monitor deadlines renewals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Assist in reviewing contracts to identify potential risks conflicts and discrepancies. Conduct thorough analysis of contract terms conditions and obligations to ensure alignment with business objectives and mitigate risks
Assist in identifying assessing and mitigating contractrelated risks. Contribute to the development and implementation of risk management strategies to protect the organizations interests and ensure contractual compliance
Support the establishment of metrics and evaluation criteria to assess contract performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct periodic performance reviews analyze data and provide insights for improvement
Continuously evaluate and enhance contract management processes. Identify opportunities for process optimization automation and standardization to improve efficiency accuracy and overall effectiveness.
Identify and escalate contract related issues disputes and deviations for resolution
Assist in maintaining accurate and uptodate contract documentation including versions amendments and approvals. Generate reports and provide insights on contract status risks and performance as required.
Keep abreast of relevant laws regulations and industry best practices related to contract management
Close monitoring of contract performance and Timely Escalation of matters on need based
Participate in contract audits and compliance reviews as required
Upon contract closure ensure vendor performance is captured Monitor and analyse data to evaluate vendor performance
Requirements
10 15 years of experience in contract management or a related field
Proven track record in managing contracts and ensuring compliance
Strong negotiation and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
Familiarity with contract administration processes including drafting reviewing and interpretation of contracts
Detailed oriented with strong organisation skills
Ability to work independently and meet stringent timelines
Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office tools and using contract management tools and applications

Contract Management (both Spend & Revenue contracts)
RFP & Contract agreement review
Identifying Delivery Risks and Contractual Obligations
Contract Lifecycle Management including change requests etc
Vendor performance Management
Negotiation of Contracts
Education
Any Graduate degree in business administration finance or relevant field. Advanced degree or certifications in contract management shall be viewed positively
Language
Fluency in written and oral English and local Language
