Job description
The NDT Multi Technician is responsible for performing a variety of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques to assess the integrity of materials, structures, and components in compliance with industry standards and client specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, interpreting results, and generating detailed reports to facilitate decision-making regarding the safety and reliability of assets. The NDT Multi Technician will utilize various testing methods such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), dye penetrant testing (PT), radiographic testing (RT), and/or visual testing (VT) depending on the specific requirements of each project. Additionally, the incumbent will adhere to safety protocols, maintain testing equipment, and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate inspection processes.
Responsibilities: Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections using techniques such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), dye penetrant testing (PT), radiographic testing (RT), and visual testing (VT).
Prepare and set up testing equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Conduct inspections on various materials, components, and structures to identify defects, discontinuities, or irregularities.
Interpret test results and evaluate the integrity and quality of inspected items.
Generate comprehensive inspection reports detailing findings, observations, and recommendations.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and project managers to understand inspection requirements and objectives.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
