Job description

Reporting to the Country Insight Manager, The Senior District (Regional) Manager, has responsibility in understanding and giving directions for the volumes, profitability, deployment of commercial (selling cost) and marketing (A&P) spends in India. The role is responsible for managing the day-to-day interaction with the distribution partner in the area assigned to the responsible person and would help build and implement strategic plans which will enable the growth and development of our brand portfolio in the market. The individual will be responsible for building relationships with key decision makers and key customers, based on a brand driven long term mind-set, while securing operational excellence and the highest level of in-store/outlet execution.
Working with the market in northern part of India, exclusively for the domestic channel, the main duties of the role are to:
To be considered for this role you will have robust knowledge and experience within the liquor industry and key account management experience. With a high commercial awareness, you will be a natural at budgets, a strategic thinker and have great analytical skills. You must be passionate about brands and sensitive to the quality of brand execution, along with strong influencing & negotiations skills to a senior level in customer base. A self-starter who leads by example and a strong team player, and the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Please note, this role will involve travel (40-50% within the region, Southern India).
