Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Admission Counsellor to join our School at Gunjur, Sarjapur Road, Bangalore. As an Admission Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in driving admissions and increasing the conversion rate for our educational programs. Your primary responsibilities will include making cold calls, generating leads, providing student counselling, and maintaining accurate reports. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be persuasive, and possess a passion for education and technology.

 

Responsibilities :

1. Make outbound cold calls to potential students and parents, introducing them to our educational programs and services.

2. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads by effectively promoting the benefits of our schools offerings.

3. Follow a structured script and call guidelines to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation.

4. Identify and qualify potential leads through effective questioning and active listening.

5. Provide detailed information about our educational programs, admission requirements, and pricing structures.

6. Address any queries or concerns raised by prospective students, offering appropriate solutions and guidance.

7. Assist in scheduling appointments and follow-ups with interested leads to maximize conversion rates.

8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls, conversations, and conversions in the CRM system.

9. Collaborate with the admissions team to coordinate efforts and share valuable insights for process improvement.

10. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in educational policies to effectively address customer concerns.

11. Achieve and exceed individual targets for call volume, lead generation, and conversion rates.

12. Provide periodic reports and analysis of call data, conversion rates, and performance metrics to the management team.

13. Targets of Admissions and Appointment has to be completed as it a Target plus Incentive Based job which has a great Offerings if the targets are reached.

 

Qualifications :

1. High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.

2. Proven experience in tele calling, sales, or customer service roles, preferably in the education or school sector.

3. Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly and professional telephone manner. 4. Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to effectively convert leads into admissions.

5. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential students and parents.

6. Good organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and reports. 7. Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools is advantageous.

8. Results-oriented mind-set with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.

9. Ability to adapt quickly to changes in scripts, policies, and procedures.

10. Knowledge of educational programs, courses, and admissions processes is desirable. 11. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
