Leading a team of engineers specialized in frontend, backend, Salesforce and QA, you will make sure all team members are aligned owning the development of system requirements and you will support their growth.
- You will lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Drive the development of architecture proposals, including estimates, assessment of tools and frameworks, ensuring they meet both technical and business requirements.
- Effectively bridge the gap between developers and stakeholders, providing essential technical support to drive the success of our product development efforts. You will coordinate and collaborate across teams to ensure effective teamwork.
- You will recruit world-class talent and provide technical leadership and guidance.
- You will establish a positive work culture centred around trust, transparency and collaboration with the engineering and management teams.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for your team members and discuss technical solutions and concepts with other teams ensuring the quality, performance, and maintainability of our solutions.
- Manage project execution from start to finish, demonstrating ownership and accountability, while encouraging team members to innovate and bring new ideas and technologies to improve workflow.
- Regularly assess team performance, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate professional growth and skill development of team members.
- You define and improve internal processes, constantly striving for improvements.
- As part of the engineering leadership team, you contribute to cross-cutting concerns like the hiring process, the product development and the definition of OKRs.
- Being a leader, you help the organization through periods of change and transformation. You explain management decisions and make sure that feedback from your team gets heard.
Qualifications
- You have a proven track record as a senior engineer.
- You've got strong leadership and managerial experience.
- You are comfortable taking decisions and coordinating diverse teams and stakeholders.
- You are a good listener and enjoy working with people co-located and remote.
- Desire to take ownership and ability to thrive on that
- Experience in working in agile and interdisciplinary teams
- You enjoy investigating new technologies and know when and how to apply them to a business.
- You are fluent in English as our team is international.
