Senior Networking Engineer SDN, OpenFlow, NFV Position Title: Senior Networking Engineer
Responsibilities Creating solution documents on incorporating best practices for a highly scalable multi-tenant data center network built using FabricPath, SDN, NFV, OpenFlow or new Data Center technologies Collaborate with the various cloud service provider networking and security teams Team to analyze, design, and replicate customer issues in test environments and provide proposed workarounds, guide the Quality Assurance and Development teams. Analyze and research reported issues and coordinate with the engineering teams to resolve the product defects Respond to customer technical questions about product functionality and investigate/confirm perceived product defects, and present case studies at Technical Support team meetings Minimum Skills Required 4+ Years of experience in computer networking and data center technologies Expert knowledge in Application and Compute Firewalls, Virtual and Physical Load Balancers, Advanced Routing & Switching and SDN overlays, Open-flow, Open Stack, NFV and Network Virtualization products Working knowledge of building and simulating high end CLOUD data centers or Enterprise Branch or Campus Networks Creating solution documents on incorporating best practices for a highly scalable multi-tenant data center networks Troubleshooting complex Network issues as well as providing necessary support to the Service Managers for high profile technical escalations Expert level understanding of network, compute and storage virtualization concepts, routing and switching protocols includes OSPF, BGP, ISIS, L3VPNs, L2VPNs, VXLAN, Fabric Path/TRILL, TCP/IP, IPv4 and IPv6, using IEEE standards and analyzing various protocol RFC’s CCIE in one of the core disciplines is mandatory Excellent presentation and communication skillsJob tags
