Job description
Required Experience:
B. Tech / B. E / MCA / M. Tech in Computer Science or equivalent (FULL TIME)
8-12 years of experience; 3-6 years of relevant experience as a Project Manager
Excellent Verbal communication skills & Good Listener
Ensure the successful execution of software development projects using Microsoft technologies such as Dot Net Core.
The responsibilities should encompass project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
Required Skills:
Good educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering (as the need is technical project manager)
Need to work from office (Chennai or Pondicherry)
Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
Knowledge in various software development methods and Agile/Scrum development is mandatory
Knowledge in Cloud technology is a plus.
Working knowledge in Publishing domain is a plus.
Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
Should be able to do code reviews when required
knowledge in Versioning tools (GitHub etc.) and DevOps tools are preferable.
Ability to create, review and maintain SDLC related documentations (knowledge in CMMi is a plus)
Excellent client-facing and inter-personal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Good written and oral communication/presentation skills
Enthusiastic and Positive Attitude, possess strong leadership qualities, Open to stretch during critical business needs
Out of the box thinking and creative problem solving skills is desired
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
o Collaborate with cross-discipline team members to ensure alignment with project requirements, deadlines and schedules.
o Develop a comprehensive understanding of project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant
stakeholders.
o Ensure technical feasibility of project deliverables.
o Perform other duties as assigned or required
Project Planning and Execution:
o Oversee the development of projects using Microsoft technologies (Dot Net Core).
o Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
o Lead project team members in identifying and resolving issues.
Project Documentation and Reporting:
o Create a detailed project plan to track progress.
o Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
o Prepare status reports by analyzing relevant information.
Effective Communication:
o Establish and execute project communication plans.
o Facilitate change requests, ensuring all parties are informed of impacts on schedule and budget.
Client Relationship Management:
o Identify and develop new opportunities with clients.
o Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables.
o Manage customer satisfaction during the project transition period.
Post-Project Evaluation:
o Conduct post-project evaluations, identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Resource Management:
o Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Change Management:
o Utilize appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Performance Measurement:
o Measure project performance using suitable systems and tools.
Reporting:
o Report project progress and escalations to management as needed.
