Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Associate with more than 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a KPO environment, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing customer invoicing and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with relevant regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, customer invoicing, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Execute customer invoicing and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Provide support to cross-functional teams on financial matters and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent interpersonal ability and collaborative attitude.
- Strong knowledge of fundamentals of US accounting.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of progressive KPO related experience.
- Prior experience in customer invoicing and accounts receivable profiles is preferred.
- Proficient in financial software and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, etc.).
- Ease in operating Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience of communication (verbal and written English) with US/UK/ Australia clients is an imperative.
