Job description

Role Purpose:

The role exists to support businesses

a) By providing the commercial team across Regions/ Countries with a robust marketing plan & marketing material related to Oncology products to enable effective sales.

b) Drive New product launch/effectiveness analysis across EM for all products along with New product supply chain team

Job Description:

· Devise marketing plans, promotional strategy for branding of core products and create global marketing guidelines for key focus countries in APAC, Latin America & Africa (including South Africa)

· Develop printed and electronic promotional material and relevant clinical papers. Liaise with Regional & Country Heads, Marketing teams to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material

· Drive Emerging market New product launch - Participate and align cross-functional department and Country teams to facilitate continuous improvement and support for New product launches to ensure in-market launch effectiveness

· Address key marketing and business challenges in alignment with key stakeholders for Core Pharma brands and new introductions

· Collaborate with regional teams to drive market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the current product range and new product introductions.

· Undertake strategic market analysis with respect to competition, study key market dynamics and target groups to define appropriate go-to-market approach for the markets in partnership with business commercial teams to ensure successful launches.

· Continuously monitor launch performance and marketing/sales performance and build that into the marketing plans .

· Assess commercial capability gaps and strive to build appropriate capabilities for the field force, as well as for partners to ensure achievement of the growth plans / revenue targets for the business.

· Create a training calendar for the year and ensure maximum coverage of medical representatives & others on new marketing techniques & product USPs.

Essential Requirements

· Creative & strong marketing skills

· Strong exposure to Oncology marketing

· Good Business acumen

· Impressive & demonstrated career record in a similar position at a similar level

· Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

· Ability to influence at a senior level, both internally and externally

· Credible and confident communicator

· Good IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

· Hands-on approach and a 'can-do' attitude

· High on energy and enthusiastic about achieving high levels of excellence
