Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Training and Placement Officer to lead our placement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing successful placements for students from various majors in B.Tech, Pharmacy, Polytechnic, PG & Degree and will be deeply passionate about guiding them towards the right career paths.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective placement strategies tailored to students from diverse academic backgrounds.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, hiring managers, and recruiters to secure placement opportunities.
- Conduct resume reviews, mock interviews, and provide tailored interview preparation tips for different majors.
- Stay updated with current industry trends and job market opportunities to guide students effectively.
- Work closely with Heads of Departments to acquire technical and industry-specific knowledge for guiding students.
- Offer personalized career counseling to students, helping them identify their strengths and align them with suitable career paths.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in student placements and career counseling.
- Strong network with industry professionals and hiring managers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct effective training sessions on resume writing, interview skills, and job search strategies.
- Knowledge of current job market trends and opportunities across various majors.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and department heads.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Education, Counseling, or related field.
Experience working in an educational setting.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
