Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Admission Counselor to join our team at Nexus Jobs. As an Admission Counselor, you will be responsible for assisting prospective students and their families with the admissions process. This includes providing information about our educational programs, conducting campus tours, and guiding students through the application and enrollment procedures. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience as an Admission Counselor or in a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully guiding students through the admissions process.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Familiarity with school admission counseling and enrollment procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with students and their families.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
- Experience in management and convincing people will be an added advantage.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist prospective students and their families in understanding our educational programs and services.
- Conduct campus tours and provide information about our facilities and resources.
- Guide students through the admissions process, including application submission, document verification, and enrollment procedures.
- Assess and evaluate prospective students' eligibility and qualifications.
- Answer inquiries from students and their families regarding admissions, program requirements, and financial aid options.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of prospective students and their application status.
- Collaborate with academic departments and faculty to provide necessary information for admissions decision-making.
- Participate in recruitment events and represent the institution at college fairs, high school visits, and information sessions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in educational policies to provide accurate and reliable information to students.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and recruitment strategies to attract potential students.
