Job Title : Purchasing Specialist
Job Description*
· This position, operating in the International Purchasing Department and should have the following skills:
· Precision: purchase requests must be entered into SAP with the greatest attention to important details like cost centers, internal orders, General Ledger accounts, budget rows, etc. Creating the purchase requests requires a great deal of accuracy, and it should not be seen as a mere 'data entry' activity.
· Negotiations: Must have an experience in managing end to end IT procurement for large MNC.
· Responsibility: the Buyer must take care of checking the budget availability for each purchase, the correct association between the type of purchase and the Category Specialist/Authorized Requester who is sending the request, etc.; as a part of their responsibility, the Buyer must also request clarifications and amendments to the requests, when needed.
· Promptness: purchase requests are received throughout the day/week, and must be entered into SAP as quickly as possible, provided that every needed information is correct and complete.
· Learning ability: the Buyer must be able to pick up quickly and thoroughly the processes/procedures explored during the training ; all the processes/procedures undergo a constant updating, so the Buyer needs to keep up and be able to apply them correctly in every situation, and to keep on applying them steadily over time.
Candidate Profile*
· High school in accounting/admin. Better if graduated in accounting (I have no experience on how the job market is there, if like here graduated are highly unemployed then graduated, other way high school is sufficient).
· If he/she has working experience, ideally has used Sap/MM module
· Another language beside English (German/Italian) welcome.
· Office package expert (especially excel)
· Positive attitude!
