Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced individual to fill the role of Manager / Senior Manager in our Stores department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our stores, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of inventory control procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the stores department, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
2. Develop and implement inventory management procedures to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize stockouts.
3. Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
4. Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues with orders.
5. Train and supervise store staff, including setting performance goals and conducting regular performance evaluations.
6. Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
7. Implement cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements.
8. Prepare reports on store performance, including sales trends, inventory turnover, and customer satisfaction metrics.
9. Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand.
10. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in inventory management and retail operations.
