Job Title: Construction Manager - Rooftop Solar Projects

Overview: As a Project Manager for Rooftop Solar Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing
and managing the successful implementation of rooftop solar projects from inception to completion.
Your role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring project timelines, budget
adherence, and quality standards are met, and managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:

 Develop comprehensive project plans and timelines for rooftop solar installations.
 Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams to ensure
alignment with project goals.
 Collaborate with design and technical teams to ensure compliance with industry
standards and regulations.

2. Stakeholder Management:

 Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendor, managing communications
and expectations.

 Collaborate with various stakeholders, including local authorities, utilities, and
contractors, to secure necessary permits and approvals.

3. Team building:

 Manage and allocate resources effectively, including human resources, equipment,
and materials.

 Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project
execution.

 Lead team of project engineers to ensure completion of multiple sites continuously.

 Training of project engineers and vendor manpower

4. Quality Control and Assurance:

 Implement quality assurance protocols to guarantee the delivery of high-quality
solar installations.

 Conduct regular and frequent site inspections to ensure compliance with safety
regulations and project specifications.

 Maintain quality checklists for all sites.

 Handover of sites to O&M without punch points

5. Budget and Cost Management:

 Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to the allocated budget.

 Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality and
efficiency.

6. Vendor Management:

 Vendor development, smooth vendor bill processing.

 Availability of skilled teams with vendors to run multiple sites parallel.

7. Net Metering:

 Ensure to get the net metering done within timelines.

 Laison with govt officials in various states

 Knowledge of net metering policy of various states

8. Reporting and Documentation:

 Prepare regular progress reports for both internal and external customers.

 Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including permits, contracts,
technical specifications, handover, and approval documents.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, PMP certification is a plus.

 7-10 years of proven experience as construction manager or similar roles.

 Proven experience in project execution and net metering, particularly in rooftop solar
projects.

 Strong understanding of solar technology, construction, electrical systems, and policy
guidelines.

 Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
