Job description
We are looking for a Risk Manager to join the Regulatory Intelligence, Safety, and Compliance (RISC) US Compliance Solution Delivery team. The RISC team has a charter to protect customers from products that are unsafe, illegal, illegally marketed, controversial or otherwise in violation of Amazon's policies while enabling our Selling Partners (SPs) to offer their broadest selection of safe and compliant products. The Solution Delivery is a team within RISC creates innovative, scalable, and robust compliance solutions by defining, aligning, and implementing strategies across business stakeholders, legal teams, and internal RP teams, and leveraging new and existing tools and workflows to drive compliance..
This role will primarily focus on investigating, identifying and implementing innovative solutions to mitigate risk causing harm to our customers, brands or sellers worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
In this role you will:
• Define operational strategies for intricate business and program needs, incorporating inputs and driving alignment across multiple orgs
• Manage the delivery of complex initiatives across various teams, components of which include data analysis, operationalizing and scaling new processes, and catalog classification
• Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to monitor risks, program health, and initiative progress
• Conduct risk assessments of existing controls and recommend solutions to address identified risks such as developing region-specific abuse prevention processes, tools, and policies
About the team
The Regulatory Intelligence, Safety and Compliance (RISC) team's charter is to protect Amazon customers from products that are illegal, illegally marketed, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited by Amazon policies. RISC Risk Manager will be a part of the Solution Delivery team which provides strategic support for Compliance requests from legal partners, regulators, law enforcement, and Business. In this role the Risk Manager will drive long-term solutions for compliance issues. They will bring together legal, technical, and business stakeholders to help drive engagements with key regulators and business partners.

· 2+ years experience in program or project management
· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
· Experience defining requirements, facilitating progress and identifying blockers.
· Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
· Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
· Experience with improving team efficiency and improving processes.
· Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
· Education or certification background such as; Six Sigma, Lean Techniques, or Project Management Professional (PMP)
· Demonstrated experience and success in Operations oriented projects.
· Demonstrated success working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
· Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations
· Ability to define Program Management strategies; ability to deliver independently, with limited guidance and structure.
· Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
· Experience with commitment towards goals and outcomes and to ensure Customer Experience metrics are maintained
