Job description
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team at Optical Arc Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in data analysis and be well-versed in Python, PowerBI, data modeling, data mining, machine learning, SQL, big data technologies (Hadoop/spark), data analysis (Python/R), and Tableau. This is a remote position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in Python, PowerBI, data modeling, data mining, and machine learning
- Strong SQL skills to manipulate and analyze complex datasets
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Knowledge of data analysis using Python or R
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions
- Design, develop, and maintain data models and databases
- Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards using PowerBI and Tableau
- Utilize Python, R, and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Apply machine learning algorithms to perform predictive and prescriptive analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical solutions
- Identify data quality issues and implement data cleansing and validation techniques
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data analytics trends and tools
