HR & TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGER

Reporting to Global Head of People & Hiring (and local guidance from HR in India)

Mission & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and proactive HR and Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our human resources and talent acquisition functions in Chennai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to support our business objectives and enhance the overall employee experience. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a deep understanding of talent acquisition and sourcing.

Talent Acquisition

• Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract and retain top talent.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with business goals.
• Utilize innovative sourcing techniques and tools to build a strong candidate pipeline.

Employee Relations

• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by promoting effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters in a fair and consistent manner.
• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and job satisfaction.

HR Policy Development and Compliance

• Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and company standards.
• Stay informed about changes in employment legislation and ensure the organization's compliance with relevant regulations.

Performance Management

• Implement performance management systems to drive employee development and accountability.
• Provide guidance to managers on performance reviews, goal setting, and career development.

Training and Development

• Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure employees have the necessary skills for their roles.

Benefits Administration

· Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an HR and Talent Acquisition Manager, with at least 5 years experience
• Strong knowledge of local labour laws and regulations
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels
• Proficiency in HRIS and talent acquisition tools
