Job Title : Mechanical CAD Designer- P & ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram)

SURFACE WELL TESTING CAD ENGINEER: The Positions is expected to work within Surface Well Testing Design Solutions (SWT DS) team. . The objective of SWT DS team is to support SLB locations around the world for development of new assets or repair/upgrade of existing assets or overall installations, so that SLB Location can perform the operation safely and providing requested service to final Client. The CAD engineer will also support Production Express Center of Expertise (PECE) Team. The objective of this team is to support SLB locations around the word in the design of productions facilities, achieving the production objectives in term of product specifications with temporary equipment, like these commonly operated for surface well testing. Job Responsibilities: The CAD engineer will be responsible for creating two and three-dimensional technical drawings: PFDs, P&IDs as support to technical bids or project development Piping and equipment lay-outs (plot plans) for on-shore and off-shore installations Two- and three-dimensional technical drawings of equipment as support to equipment asset manufacturing or modification (repairs, upgrade, new asset) Academic Qualifications: Engineering degree (Bachelor or Master of Engineering or equivalent) AutoCAD certification: AutoCAD Certified Professional Exposure to onshore/offshore facilities for equipment lay-out design Experience : 2-3 Years Skills Required:- Key Skills:- Deep knowledge of AutoCAD software, in particular for P&ID drafting Experience with piping and equipment lay-out design (min. two years) in oil and gas industry Knowledge of lay-out philosophies in oils and gas (onshore/offshore), like drainage and isolation. Experience with Caesar, SolidWorks, Ansys, Compress is an advantage Fluent in English (speaking and writing) Additional Skills:- Understanding of Process Engineering Flowsheets / PFDs/ block flow diagrams Deep knowledge Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) standards: P&ID symbols, ISA (International Standard of Automation) Standard 5.1, PIP (Process Industry Practices) PIC001 Standard, ISO 14617-6 Knowledge of piping / equipment lay-out onshore/offshore Soft skills:- Curious, Quick learner and adaptable to a wide variety of topics / products / business systems Adaptable and dependable Initiative-taker Team worker This is an office-based position, with the expectation to come in four days a week.
