Job description
Roles and Responsibilites :1. Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS2. Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements3. Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code4. Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools5. Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems6. Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas7. Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems8. Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimizationJob Description :1. Hands on Expertise on AWS is Must (AWS Certification Preferred). Experience with AWS Services like VPC, EC2, Spot, Lambda, EMR, SQS, SNS, SES,2. ElasticCache, ElasticSearch, S3,Event Bridge, Networking Concepts.3. Expertise in docker, Kubernetes(EKS), ECS, ECR, Prometheus and Grafana is essential.4. Should have hands-on experience in service mesh, network policies, K8s cluster security.5. Must be proficient with the helm with experience in service mesh like Istio, Linkerd6. Expertise in CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.7. Expertise in various data stores like MySQL,MongoDB, Redis ect.8. Good to have exposure to Kafka or any other messaging system.9. Should have expert level knowledge of docker based deployments on containers.10. Must know shell/ Python scripting and to work on Linux systems.11. Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.12. Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks such as Kafka,Logstash, Splunk, ElasticSearch, and Kibana13. Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions) and their integration with Kubernetes.Bonus :- AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, and Developer Associate.- Previous startup experience would be a huge plus- Latent desire and/or curiosity in related domains like software development, front-end engineering, security, or project management (ref:hirist.tech)
