Position summary
- Working closely with country sales and field marketing teams, regional field marketing and corporate marketing, the India Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting in defining Enterprise and Education marketing strategy development, and program execution to successfully increase brand value and generate demand for Clients Enterprise and Education Digital Media business in India.
- The senior marketing specialist reports directly to the Head of Marketing - Digital Media Business, India.
Responsibilities
- The senior marketing specialist is responsible for defining, planning, implementing, developing, and tracking Enterprise and Education marketing programs in India. The Digital Media business model covers cloud solutions and multiple routes to market:

- Enterprise Creative Decision Makers, IT Decision Makers
- Education Faculty, Admins
- Solutions:
- Creative Cloud
- Document Cloud
- Routes to Market:
- Enterprise sales team
- Channel team

- Marketing Planning: Based on Clients APAC business and worldwide Digital Media objectives, assist in defining strategies and plans to successfully achieve those goals in India. Communicate plans to cross-functional teams, execute, and monitor success. Provide counsel and insight to the business and marketing in the design of marketing initiatives. Work closely with the various APAC functions across demand marketing, marketing operations, as well as PR & communications.
- Program Planning: Understand and identify key marketing opportunities in the market and deliver strongly integrated marketing programs for the Enterprise and Education Digital Media business in India. Work with regional Digital Media teams, corporate marketing, and sales to plan a wide range of programs, successfully driving the execution of those programs in India. As part of the planning process, define measurements of success for each program. Champion the concept of integrated marketing.
- Account Level Approach: deliver account level customer engagement for renewal and expansion opportunities through digital & high quality in-country execution. Align initiatives with the customer journey, sales buying stages, and support the go-to-market strategy and plan.
- Relationship management: Develop a strong collaborative working relationship with India sales, APAC marketing, corporate marketing, and the other members of the APAC organization. Ensure alignment with the Enterprise digital experience marketing team to deliver joint marketing programs where relevant to drive demand, acceleration, and renewals. Respond quickly to requests, work collaboratively to solve marketing problems, and communicate with clarity.
- Budget management: Plan, track, and reconcile India Enterprise marketing budgets based on business priority. Track ROI and seek to optimize budget investments for results. Ensure compliance with Client policies.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of sales and marketing experience in software or a technology related field.
- 2 to 5 years Management experience of direct reports or virtual teams.
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience required and MBA desirable.
- Understanding of IT industry; knowledge of Client products desirable.
- Proven success in supporting business and corporate objectives, including the development, execution, and measurement of attribution marketing programs.
- Social and digital marketing experience is preferred.
- Has access to a network of outside services vendors and has a strong, positive working relationship with them. Proven track record in managing outside vendors, keeping vendors on track and within budget.
- Strong attention to detailaccurate data gathering, insightful analysis, ability to manage logistics, and tactical details with flawless execution.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal communication, teamwork, and project management skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Proven track record in working effectively with cross functional groups, sales organizations, and operations.
- Innovator with the ability to influence management at all levels (internally and externally).
