FIELD APPLICATION ENGINEER FOR SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

PROFILE:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent

• 1+ years' experience as an application engineer in the automotive field.

• knowledge of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

• knowledge of Multiplexed System

• knowledge of Embedded Software Engineering

• experience in C development for embedded applications

• experience in development in MATLAB/Simulink is a plus

• Highly customer focused with excellent communications skills

• Proactive, Logical thinking and good skills of analysis.

• knowledge of vehicle communication network (CAN,LIN, Ethernet...).

• knowledge and interest in vehicle system ( you understand the different

components: mechanical, electronics, software

• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams

• Good communication in English and good interpersonal skills

ROLE:

• Develop electrical architectures for one or more customers

• Participate with the sales team in the analysis of the customers' needs.

• Analyze the customer's need and establish functional specification of the electrical

architecture he wishes to implement

• Build and configure the electrical architecture

• Analyze and optimizes deployed system solutions.

• Develop and test the application software allowing the electrical architecture to

perform as expected

• Develop and test Graphic user interfaces

• Validate the electrical architecture on a test bench

• Integrate the electrical architecture on customer proto type vehicle

• Follow the evolution of the system and adapts the design according to the

prerequisite.

• Provide technical support to customer by helping with problem solving and

customized solutions.

• Participate actively to the preparation and updating of training tools/means and

technical notes.

• Provide technical training for customers.

• Provide product demonstrations.

EXPERIENCE:

• System OEM working experience is a plus.

• Automotive diagnostic experience is a plus.
