DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a strong leader that will take the ownership and drive the change in our growing payroll team.

This individual must have prior payroll experience, preferably in India payroll.

As our Payroll Manager, you will be responsible to:

- Manage, initiate and liaise with multiple stakeholders, internal and external.
- To manage the end-to-end payroll processing cycle for employees across multiple locations
- To support statutory compliance, internal/external audits, benefits administration, and payroll system/process changes.
- Reviews payroll computations to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Perform audits of payroll tax computation and compliance.
- Cooperate and/or drive continuous improvement projects related to payroll processing.
- Coordinate year end activities in cooperation with payroll provider.
- Leading a team up to 10 payroll analysts including hiring, developing and providing coaching.
- Manage workflow, handle escalations, proactively engage resources to address issues and effectively delegate workload.
- Ensures employees growth & development, set priority, drive motivation & engagement for employees.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- - 6+ years of experience in HR/Payroll processes & systems
- - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
- - Experience owning operations with high volume of transactional inputs and outputs.
- - Deep controllership / statutory compliance knowledge (tax, labor code, statutory guidelines, benefits, terminations, RSUs, expatriate payroll)
- - Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment
- - Strong analytical and statistical skills
- - Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- - Strong interpersonal skills, including persuasive written and oral communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- - Deep knowledge of India payroll, statutory and income tax legislation.
- - Should be proficient in MS office
- - Experience in people reporting
- - Experience with process transitions
- - Sense of innovation
- -YB/GB certified
- - SOX compliance experience
