Job description
- To drive business development plan for Puma India by managing the sales target across the stores and finding new business opportunities
- Responsible for planning targeted sales for existing and new stores
- Custodian of P/L
- Build third party relations
- Responsible for making business plans for the next financial year for the whole organization and at the department level by dividing components
- Deciding topline targets for the department factoring in sales from the existing stores and sales from the new stores
- Plan complete sales form existing stores and make comparison to the targeted sales and take corrective actions, if required
- Deciding which stores to be opened during what time of the year and the expected sales target for the store
- Conducting market surveys to capture the market potential and finding new initiatives to build brand image
- Enhance customer experience by ensuring that the stores are structured according to the Puma standard guidelines and undertaking renovations of the stores when required
- Undertaking the Re-sizing of the stores based on the market potential and requirements
- Ensuring that all Puma stores are working within the EBIT target
- Working on increasing the topline, reducing the cost and reducing discounts to ensure that the store is working well within the EBIT guidelines
- Finding scope and opportunities to negotiate the cost of rentals to maximize gross profit
- Act as the brand ambassador of Puma to build relations with the third party
- Sharing of necessary information with the third party and keeping them informed about the company initiatives to enhance their sense of belonging.
YOUR TALENT
Eligibility Criteria and Functional Competencies Required
- Excellent communication skills.
- At least 3+ years experience in sales and/or management.
- Must have a bachelors degree in business, marketing, finance or related field.
- Willing to travel up to 75 percent of the time.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proven track record of meeting sales target
