Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Executive to be based at Bangalore, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for pet products in the designated area. The Area Sales Executive will also be responsible for developing business relationships with customers, meeting sales targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
1. Identification of Customer Market, generate business revenue from Pet care retail stores, Breeders, Veterinary doctors with a goal of maximizing Sales volume/market share
2. Make required efforts to achieve business target, review the target vs achievements regularly, Monitor sales performance
3. Monitor the market & competition to develop strategic sales plans, forecasting
4. Manage Retailer network and new retailer selection
5. Attend relevant industry conferences/workshops/events time to time
6. Develop and review the annual sales plans of the assigned territory
7. Build sales pipeline for new business opportunities
Required candidate profile:
* Required minimum 2-3 years of field sales experience in General Trade/SPT in Pet industry
*Proven track record in sales and sales management
*Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
*Strong time management, organizational and leadership skills
*Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
*Good knowledge about the Area, good command over English and local language is a must
*Interested candidates should be proactive, self-motivated, and should be passionate towards pet wellbeing.
