Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our high-frequency trading (HFT) team specializing in cryptocurrency markets. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing the software infrastructure that powers our real-time trading strategies. We are looking for a highly skilled developer with a deep understanding of C++ and/or Rust, as well as a proven track record in HFT. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with traders, quant researcher and other developers to design and implement high-performance trading algorithms for cryptocurrency markets. Develop and maintain low-latency trading systems that execute trades with precision and speed. Optimize code for performance, latency reduction, and efficiency to ensure the highest level of competitive advantage in HFT. Implement risk management and trade execution strategies to minimize trading risk and maximize profitability. Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, quickly identifying and resolving any issues to maintain uninterrupted trading operations. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cryptocurrency markets and trading technologies to continually enhance our trading strategies. Implement and perform code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices and maintain code quality. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 2+ years of experience as a software developer in high-frequency trading, with a strong focus on cryptocurrency markets. (1+ years of experience in crypto HFT firm can also apply) Proficiency in C++/Rust programming languages is essential. In-depth knowledge of market microstructure, and trading algorithms. Strong understanding of low-latency system design, network protocols, and hardware optimization. Experience with order routing, market data feeds, and exchange connectivity. Proficient in debugging and performance profiling tools. Familiarity with Linux-based development environments. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Prior experience in a cryptocurrency-focused HFT firm is a significant plus.Job tags
