Job description

The Performance Test Architect is responsible for providing technical expertise and strategic direction to the organization in the area of application performance solutions. This role will contribute to the planning, execution, analysis and tuning efforts to deliver high-performing end to end applications. 

• Design, review and approve test strategy for performance plans.
• Design, develop and review test performance tools, framework, and infrastructure
• Provide consulting services on techniques to achieve of quality goals through education, training, coaching and collaboration
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations on future direction for quality engineering as well as apply latest techniques and industry information as appropriate.

• Minimum 12+ years’ of relevant work experience in one of the automation and performance testing tools: like: JMeter/Load runner/Silk Performer/VSTS/Neoload/Locust.
• Preferable exposure in end to end performance test process and experience on how and when to engage different teams such as DBA, Dev or System admins.
• 6+ years of experience as Performance Architect
• Strong hand in Core Java / dot net, JavaScript and SQL queries.
• Experience with cloud based performance test services
• Capable of assessing, analyzing and concluding tools and frameworks based on client requirements and technology stack.
• Preferably strong hands-on in cloud based monitoring tools like AWS cloud watch, Azure monitoring.
• Hands on in any monitoring tools: P erfMon, NMON, JavaMelody, Kibana, Graphana, J Visual VM, Fidler etc.
• Should have good knowledge of SDLC, Performance Test Life Cycle, Defect logging and Tracking
• Sound understanding of n-tier architecture.
• Hands on in analysis of application configuration, various logs, GC etc.
• Prior experience in troubleshooting using APM tools such as Dynatrace or AppDynamics .
• Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate and present results to stakeholders
• Strong ability to deliver under pressure.
• Preferred knowledge on monitoring Web Servers, Application Server, and DB server.
