Job Title: Product Development Engineer- Medical devices
Exp – 3 to 10years
Locations: Hyderabad, India
Mandatory skillset – Any CAD tool, Medical devices
Job Description: Product Development Engineer - Medical devices
Position Summary: The candidate must have hands on experience in executing design projects on Medical devices.
Should have in depth knowledge on NPD process, PDM, medical regulations etc
The candidate must have mechanical engineering fundamentals and is expected to work on windchill and 3d softwires Creo/Nx or solid works.
Key Process and Responsibilities: - NPD activities (Concept to Launch)
- Life Cycle Management activities(Change Management, Production support)
- Develop design concepts and pre-production models
- Investigate design improvements of an existing products.
- Design & Development activities (Conceptual design, drawings, prototype, testing etc.)
- Conduct performance tests on products to analyze fit and function.
Competencies :
- PD process for Medical Devices
- Knowledge of FDA and European standards for development of Medical products
- Function development and systems engineering
- Idea/Concept generation skills,
- Knowledge in Mechanics, Statics, Dynamics, Fluid Dynamics etc.
- Basic Knowledge in Materials processing and manufacturing techniques
- Proficiency in any one of the software's like Solid works, UG, Inventor, Creo etc.
- Good communication, presentation and written skills.
Minimum Education and Experience: - BE (Mechanical)/ME (Mechanical) and 4 years of minimum experience in R&D/ new product development/ Machine design.
- To have good knowledge on complete product life cycle projects.
- Exposure in Innovation projects, new product development,
- Prior experience in manufacturing industries is an added advantage.
