Job description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic manager of Accounts Receivable to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing AR teams within the RCM or US medical billing industry. The Manager- AR will be responsible for overseeing a substantial team, driving efficiency, and ensuring optimal revenue collection.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue cycle performance and reduce accounts receivable days outstanding.
- Ability to on-board new clients by virtue of collaborating with sales, IT, admin, HR teams and also ensuring seamless client implementation Becomes the Point of contact for clients with a high level of customer service by reaching out to clients by phone or email every week.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Manage a team of billing specialists and other staff responsible for accounts receivable functions
- Maintain knowledge of current US healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies to ensure compliance with billing requirements
- Implement and manage effective policies and procedures for accounts receivable management
- Provide training and support to staff regarding billing procedures, policies, and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills Required:
- 7 years of progressive experience in the RCM or US medical billing industry in AR, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing.
- In-depth knowledge of revenue cycle processes, billing systems, and healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Thorough understanding of US healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies
- Experience managing and leading teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
