Domnic Lewis has been mandated to hire Employee Relations Specialist for a leading MNC for Bawal location
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster harmonious workplace relations to prevent industrial conflicts.
- Monitor and oversee governance issues aligned with Employment Standing Orders.
- Establish and maintain a fair disciplinary mechanism ensuring employee well-being.
- Handle grievance resolution and dispute settlement effectively.
- Manage statutory and labor compliance across factory premises, project sites, and contractor relationships with 100% adherence.
- Obtain and renew labor licenses, ensuring compliance with the Factories Act.
- Maintain digital records and registers efficiently.
- Compile and submit periodic returns under various labor laws.
- Efficiently manage vendors, suppliers, and audit processes.
- Collaborate with management to devise hiring strategies for blue-collar roles, overseeing recruitment, training, and development.
- Uphold the highest integrity while managing employee relations and reported matters.
- Keep the business updated on new labor laws, Acts, and rules.
- Develop productive relations with subcontractors, workers, labor suppliers, and government officials.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Education and Experience:
- PGDM/MSW/LLB/certificate course in Industrial Relations.
- Certification as a Welfare Officer from any State or Central Government is advantageous.
- Preferably 15+ years of experience in manufacturing industries.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi communication is mandatory.
Knowledge, Skills, and Capabilities :
Functional:
- Extensive experience in expertly handling employee relations.
- Profound knowledge of ER/HR policies and their implementation.
- Deep understanding of statutory compliances, employment rules for contractor workforce, and various labor codes imposed by State and Central Governments.
- Familiarity with workers' union procedures, including registration, recognition, and interactions with various authorities.
Behavioral:
- Strong interpersonal skills to identify needs between employees and management.
- Effective problem-solving skills for addressing plant-level issues.
- Proficient communication abilities to understand and address employee concerns, especially in complex situations.
- Analytical capabilities to assess situations and maintain disruption-free working environments.
- Negotiation skills to provide guidance on conflicts and facilitate amicable solutions between management and employees.
